چکیده
Abstract Background and objective: There are limited data on the clinical impact of Covid–19 in patients with acute myocardial infarction (AMI). Aim this work is to assess infection mortality AMI admitted during national outbreak Italy. Methods Retrospective nationwide cohort study enrolling consecutive between March,11st May 3rd, 2020 (national outbreak) equivalent periods previous 5 years The main outcomes were 30–day 6–month all–cause mortality. Results actual number admission Italy was significantly reduced as compared that expected based trend (STEMI: 4048 vs 5523, p<0.0001; NSTEMI: 4981 8633, p<0.0001). A diagnosis reported 4.2% STEMI 3.5% NSTEMI patients. In rate 9.2% 12.6%, observed rates 10.8% (p=0.016) 14.4% (p=0.017), respectively. 6.5% 12.2%, 8.3% (p=0.001) 13.6% (p=0.041), Excluding diagnosed Covid–19, become consistent 5–year for STEMI, but remain higher NSTEMI. After multivariate adjustment, resulted an independent predictor both (OR=4.7, p<0.0001 STEMI; OR=4.5, NSTEMI) (OR=3.6, OR=3.8, NSTEMI). Conclusion During Italy, a concomitant associated while they

Rapid Diagnosis of Acute Myocardial Infarction
To improve the specificity of biochemical markers of myocardial infarction (MI) a method to measure cardiac troponin-I (CTn-I) was developed. CTn-I is a protein unique to cardiac muscle and is released after MI. Consecutive 150 patients admitted to the coronary care unit was studied. Value of CTn-I was determined in all samples. CTn-I concentration in the MI patients group was increased com...
